The Worlds Backward Teaching

The world has a strange way of teaching God's children in a backwards manner.
Children are taught at a very early age that they need to be grown up, independent, and structured.
Children are expected to be well behaved, well mannered, independent, good listeners, and respectful.
The world wishes them to be mini adults.
The world focuses on teaching children that they should become adults to be free.
The world teaches that you have to be an adult to be independent.
Children without knowing start to become distant from their innate child attributes.
Children then becomes increasingly convinced that they should be someone else other than their true selves.
The worlds’ teaching is so backward that children forget how to be a child.
Those of us that are parents find that we have become dysfunctional because we can't remember how to be a child.
We find ourselves being frustrated with trying to figure our kids out.
We have no idea why they do what they do.
We then find ourselves expecting them to be grown up, independent, and structured.
We don't realize that our demands expectations are sending them down the same path we're currently on.
Our Heavenly Father new that the world would try to push us down a backwards path.
This is why he keeps the world filled with an abundance of children.
He teaches us that the best way to be a child is to be around them and enjoy them.
He teaches us that we as parents need to watch and learn the best qualities of a child and magnify them.
Children teach us to be quick to forgive and forget.
Children teach us to be more willing to learn because when they don't understand something they don't feel comfortable.
Children teach us to live in the moment whether you're happy or sad.
Children teach us that the power of the mind and heart unlock the key to endless possibility and creativity.
If we don't make the effort to become as a child we're not learning what our Heavenly Father wants us to learn.
Failing to learn how to be a child will cause us to struggle.
Continued failure will make us confused and conflicted.
Our Heavenly Father reminds us that there is always a way to remember.
Good memories will never be erased.
We just need to ask to become once again like a little child.
This restores a piece of heaven that should be in our hearts.
Our minds will awaken and our hearts will be open.
We'll see that our children are mirrors reflecting heaven and Gods love.
May we turn around and show our Heavenly Father that we will do the same.
Then when we ask we will given the gift to remember what it is like to be a child.

Great quote from Tintin

Captain Haddock: I thought you were an optimist.
Tintin: You were wrong, weren't you? I'm a realist.
Captain Haddock: Ah, it's just another name for a quitter.
Tintin: You can call me what you like. Don't you get it? We failed.
Captain Haddock: Failed. There are plenty of others willing to call you a failure. A fool. A loser. A hopeless souse. Don't you ever say it of yourself. You send out the wrong signal, that is what people pick up. Don't you understand? You care about something, you fight for it. You hit a wall, you push through it. There's something you need to know about failure, Tintin. You can never let it defeat you.

Girl Scout Cookies

Kindness should dwell in our hearts in all seasons. I guess this means we should show a little kindness during girl scout cookie season.
